Classroom and Online Fiber Optic Certification For All Levels
We offer fiber cable technician training for most needs: basic fiber optic certification training (0 to 1+ years work experience) and advanced fiber tech certification (2+ years of work experience). The Fiber Optic Association (FOA) approves our certification training. You earn a certificate of completion for our hands-on skills fiber training (no experience needed, non-certification classes). You can attend most courses in class or online on weekdays and weekends. Our goal is to help prepare you for today's fiber jobs.
Affordable Classes
Our company strives to keep classes affordable. We apply an automatic discount if you register 30 days (4 weeks) in advance of our 4-day certification class's start date. Fiber Certification Training
We have certification classes for most skill levels, which you can attend in person or online and on weekdays and weekends. You earn Fiber Optic Association (FOA) certification on passing a course's exam. Online classes require tools for lab exercises. You may purchase our online toolkit or purchase tools on your own. If you purchase tools on your own, call us for a checklist to ensure your purchase meets class requirements. View toolkit contents on our 4-Day Certification class page. We recommend that online students register four weeks in advance to allow for toolkit delivery.
Basic Fiber Optic Certification
New trainees and experienced technicians can benefit from training and receive FOA certification on passing course exams. Certification may open possibilities, such as career advancement, or help gain new business opportunities

Class-by-Class Fee: $495 Classroom ($425 Online)

1-Day Certified Fiber Optic Tech (CFOT) Class
Standard Fee: $895 Classroom; $795 Online
Advanced Fiber Optic Certification
These classes increase your expertise. We offer FTTH, splicing, or testing specialist training. To qualify for these courses, you need to pass our 4-day or 1-day certification class. Select your class below and write it on your registration form. Most courses start in Fall 2025.
2-Day Adv. Fiber Optic Specialist, Splicing (CFOS/S)
Standard Fee: $895 Classroom. Online option is not available for this class.
Increase your knowledge and become an FOA-certified fiber optic splicing specialist (CFOS/S). Advanced students learn expanded techniques, including mid-entry and ribbon splicing. 2-Day Adv. Fiber Optic Specialist, Fiber to the Home (CFOS/H)
Fee: $895 Classroom, $795 Online

2-Day Adv. Fiber Optic Specialist, Testing (CFOS/T)

Increase your expertise and earn the FOA's Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Testing (CFOS/T) certification. Hands-On Fiber Skills Training for Non-Fiber Optic Techs
Our non-certification training teaches hands-on skills. These classes offers job readiness training that can help you quickly enter the fiber optics field. Also, we offer skills training for contractor-field techs. With the current shortage of trained fiber techs, you should find a job or advance in the industry after completing our course.
